Hi ladies,
I'm only 10 weeks pregnant with our 2nd child, but I swear I can feel him moving. I even saw my stomach move this morning. Am I really feeling baby or is it wishful thinking?
Thanks everyone for your opinions. Whether I felt baby or not is not so important to me now. I had been worrying that something had happened to baby and I think that my "feeling" him was just God's way of reassuring me until my next appointment. It also reminded me of the fun stuff I have to look forward to since I have been sicker this time around. I'm excited to get to know baby in whatever ways I can. Thanks again'
My guess is that you are. I felt my second MUCH sooner than my first. Congrats! How fun for you! :-)
Congratulations! Of course you can feel the baby. It is your second child and you are more aware. Also some moms notice that the second pregnancy seems to go faster.. Maybe you are further along than first predicted? You are almost 4 months pregnant, almost half way there!
THey always say you can feel the 2nd one sooner because you know what it feels like.

Congrats! I am 11 weeks and I could swear I have felt #2 move, but thought there was no way! After reading this, maybe I was wrong! How much fun is that?
I'm nervous also about #2, ours will be only 14.5 months apart, so life is about to get really fun, scary, complicated - WONDERFUL!

I am a midwife and it is highly unlikley that you are feeling the baby move. Your uterus is still tucked below your pubic bone. Your baby is actually at only 8 weeks of development even though you are considered 10 weeks pregnant. The baby is still extremely small. If you are indeed feeling the baby then you are probably further along than you think.

i bet you are. some women are more in tune with there body. is there a possibiality that your further along than you think? could be...congrats on the baby!

That would not be surprising if you were pregrenant with Twins... maybe you need to get a new ultrasound.

You are more aware of your body and what it is like to feel the baby move this time around so if you think you are feeling himm then chances are highlly likely that you are!

I felt my second baby around 10 weeks. I have heard if u are thinner that you feel them much earlier.
You will be fine with the two kids and will later wonder what it was like with just the one. It is definitely an adjustment but gets easier. In fact, when they get a little older it is better as it is a built in playmate!

With my 2nd baby, I felt her at around 10 weeks also. I also lost my waistline much quicker!
Sure I felt my second at 11 weeks. I was suprised when I felt her "roll", but I know it was her. I can't remember when I felt my third, but it was actually much later.
