Does anyone own an Alpha Omega Carseat? What are your thoughts? I am looking at getting one and I would like to hear some pros and cons. Can you please help me.
I just wanted to thank all of you for your help, we did buy the Alpha Omega and my daughter LOVES it and so do I. The only thing is that we have not figured out how to install it rear facing the way the directions say it does not seem secure enough, we are taking it this weekend to get it professionally installed (hopefully). Wish us luck or if anyone has a helpful tip that would be great!
Great carseat. I have 2 one for my suv and one for my parents and Just love it.
My second daughter is now using the one I bought for my first daughter. I have been very satisfied. The puzzle buckle is a mystery to some people who have had to use the seat, and caused me GREAT frustration until I got the hang of it. I don't know if they're still making them that way. Neither of my girls has tried to undo that buckle, though!
The buckle sticks sometimes, and has since I got it. I just press the release button a few times to loosen.
We are also still using the Graco that we got as a second seat for our other car. It's not as stable in the seat, and it's not as comfortable for the child during a long ride. I like the fact that the Alpha doesn't slip on my leather seats, and that I can change the angle of the seat w/ the bar on the bottom.
Mine is 5 yrs old now, and it's been a good investment.
Good luck! It feels like an "end of the world" kind of decision, I know. I think you'll be satisfied w/ an Alpha.

We recently bought 2 of them. I have a friend who sent me the consumer report/safety reports on 5 carseats and that one ranked up there with the Britax ( that one is very expensive). We really like it and so does my friend! Hope that helps
I love ours. It is on our third little girl now. The only drawback is that I find it too big to travel with on an airplane. We have a smaller back up car seat that we use for airline travel.
Great car seat! Had one for my 4 year old during his 2 to 3 1/2 year stage!
Great and easy to install and remove!
