We are excited to be expecting our first little boy!!! Yay!
Our last name is pronounced Ga-ris-ko. It's Italian, however, our kids are less than 25% Italian. We are mostly German. I am playing with German names for our soon to be baby boy without sounding too "out there". We like two syllable names and nothing that ends with a hard consonant since we have the start of a last name with hard G...e.g. no Eric.
Other suggestions for names are welcome too! We also like some of the popular "American" names like Brady, Ryan and Justin. (I know there's really no such thing as an American name, I just meant more common & popular than something like Hans or Deitrich.)

Another vote for Anton....I like it. Easy to pronounce, easy to spell, not very common yet not unheard of either.
Anton? It's a nice Germanic-sounding variation of Anthony and sounds good with your last name. It was on our short (well, somewhat pared down to 25) list with our second if she had turned out to be a he.

Our son is named Hans. I am more Norwegian and my husband is 100% Estonian. We chose Hans because it was my Grandfather, Great Grandfathers and Great Great Grandfathers name but we also chose it because it is short and very masculine. We also wanted a name that he would be the only one in High School with that name and he was the only Hans 3 out of 4 of the years. In a school of 2000 students he was just know as Hans no need for a last name. Never had to use our last name, which can be very hard to pronounce correctly. We also knew the first time we saw his blond hair and blue eyes we had chose right.
He is now almost 19 years old, 6'2", still has that blond hair and looks like a true Norwegian Viking.
My husband originally chose the names Sebastian, Wolfgang and Zebulon. All because they were brilliant me in history, but I wanted a family name.
Henry sounds like it fits the bill !!

I would love to name a child Johann! That would sound lovely with your last name. No offense re: American sounding names, but they are very, very popular, especially all of the "J" names like Jake, Justin, Joshua, Jordan and Jacob. I think we have one of each on our small block. I love the idea of a child having a traditional name from their own culture. So, even though "J" names are popular, I bet he'd be the only Johann in his kindergarden class!

They have lists of names and you can even look up the meaning. I did a similar search from another site for a middle name for my daughter. I wanted to give her a Danish name.
It would help to know what your girls' names are. Here are a few from our list from the last baby (we are German and Scottish but I can't remember which names came from where anymore). Willem, Calvin/Cal, Theodore/Theo, Elliot, Miles, Malcolm, Lewis, Adlai, Duncan, Aiden, Cameron. I like the "N" sound at the end with your last name, and 3 syllables - Benjamin is nice, too (very common, though)
