My 2 year old daughter has a crib that we purchased from K-Mart...it's great. I have not had any trouble with it.

Hi - My crib was recalled recently. It is taking a long time to get the voucher to get a new one and so my 6 month old is back in the co-sleeper. Do you have a crib you really like? In addition to it taking a long time, I am not sure I trust the same brand again - it's Jardine from babies r us. Any advice on a nonconverible crib?

i bought Storkcraft through JC Penney. it was inexpensive and shipping costs were reasonable. my son who just turned 3 is still in it and seems sturdy still, but he was not a bed jumper until recently.
I highly recommend going to Bellini. Our crib is from there and we are now using it for our second child and its condition is as good as the day we brought it home. Bellini is very expensive, but the quality is there and they will deliver and assemble. Best of luck!
I have an Ikea crib. it does convert to a toddler bed, but it has no movable parts and is very solid. We are very happy with ours.
I have a crib and changing table made by Simmons that I would love to sell to you! My son is four years old and we need to get it out of the house. It is made of solid cherry wood (dark color), and there is not a scratch on either piece. We bought the set used for $700 (new, it was $1500) Make a reasonable offer, and you can have them with bedding.

I'll be honest with you, I have twin boys, we got our cribs on craigs list. They are the traditional cribs that do not convert. I love them, they are wood. My advice to you is look on craigs list.
