What are family planning pills?
What are family planing pills?
Please consult a professional. The MD that prescribed to you the pills and a ND (Doctor of Naturopathy) to speak to you about the possible contradiction.
Your only have one body, it is a big responsibility to care for it properly...but so worth the effort.

Fenugreek is commonly used to increase milk supply. Are you nursing and trying to conceive?
I don't recommend taking fenugreek while TTC. Fenugreek can cause uterine contractions, which might be counterproductive.
Perhaps you should talk with your doctor.
Ditto to what Megan said, though I would say you probably should talk to someone who is an expert in herbal medicines because they're more likely to know about any possible interactions with birth control pills than regular MD's would know about interactions with herbs. Check your local natural food store or even look online for reputable sites.
Welcome to mamapedia!! This is an interesting first question...not a lot of information here
You need to talk a doctor about taking fenugreek - a supplement to help with producing more milk while breast feeding - and birth control - I personally don't think I would mix the two together.
If you are on birth control (family planning pills) that tells me you are NOT trying to get pregnant - is that correct? If you are taking fenugreek - I am understanding you are currently breastfeeding. Is this correct? Your post is so vague it leaves much to the imagination....so it prompts more questions than answers.
We aren't doctor's so we can't advise you on this. Those kinds of questions are best asked of a doctor. Call your doctor.
Careful about herbal supplements. They aren't always what they seem. Because they aren't regulated by the FDA, there is no guarantee that what it says on the label is what's in the bottle. Some "supplements" have been found to contain nothing but ground lawn clippings.
this isn't something I would ask a bunch of strangers. I would talk to a pharmacist or my OB/GYN.
I have to agree with others...WHY? Do you know about the birds and the bees? I don't mean to sound rude, but really, "family planning pills"??? do you mean birth control pills?
what are you trying to accomplish? produce more milk and have more babies? From what I understand, supplements like this can lessen the effectiveness of birth control pills.
Please talk to a doctor.
Thanks u all for ur answers
