It's kind of like this site but all about birthday parties! You can search by age, theme, interests, whatever :)

It helps if you pick a theme and then have a hunt and craft and decorations designed around that theme. Last year we chose and insect theme and hunted for plastic bugs, made bugs hung bug decorations and had a very cute inchworm cake. He was turning 6 and wants to do it the same this year!
Fireflies, dragon flies, butterflies, flowers are all good spring themes.

Have them bring a solid shirt or pillow case, get some fabric paint on a paper plate, let them stamp their hand on each shirt/pillowcase. Next morning let them write their name by their hand. So they'll have a shirt with all their friend's hands/names on it.

I like the pizza decorating idea - use English Muffins with lots of toppings to choose from. Or buy those personal pizza crusts in the pizza sauce aisle.

I like the pedicure idea. What mom wouldn't let some toes get painted? Hands perhaps some may shy away from, but toes would be fun. Get a variety of colors. Let them do 'spring' colors and each toe is a different color - green, yellow, pink, lavendar, light blue....

My daughter made a throw pillow for her room at a party once and she still has it years later. It is super cute- all they did was get a pillow form, two pieces of fleece and they tied knots all the way around. Very simple and no mess!

Go to www.makingfriends.com for other ideas- this is a great website. I used it all of the time when my daughter was in Girl Scouts. I didn't order the kits from the site because I usually didn't have enough time, but would buy the supplies at Michaels or Walmart.

Have fun!

What are her interests?

Make your own mini pizza
decorate cupcakes
have a craft (something simple and I'd steer from too much glitter/sparkle because you just can't get that stuff out) Fuzzy frames you color, etc.
My daughter was never one to enjoy scavenger hunts, etc..
Mani's/pedi's (per mom's approval)
dress up party where someone brings in a trunk of dress up's for girls to dress up
Paint and party type craft... some of these people do come to your homeI am sure your daughter's party will be special to her! Enjoy!
