Are you anywhere near Glenview? if so, check out this place: http://www.dreamsgym.com/
We are looking for a place to have our 4 year old daughter's birthday party, (Other than pump it up or the community center). We were going to do it at Deforest but they don't have any availability. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

IGI Gymnastics in Westmont - the kids love it!!
We had my daughter's bday party at Sweet and Sassy last year. It was great. This past weekend we went to a party at Enchanted Castle and I thought the kids had a great time and it was very well done.
Sorry this is late, but you should check out the online Birthday Party Guide on www.kidwinks.com. There are over 300 Chicago area birthday party places listed, and many have reviews by parents. If you become a member of kidwinks, which is free, you can sort the list by distance from your house. Here's the direct link to the Birthday Party Guide: http://www.kidwinks.com/ForKids/6/KidsBirthdayPartyPlaces....
Kidwinks also has a terriffic Events Calendar, Ongoing Activities Section, Summer Camp Guide, Indoor Play Places Guide, and a Kids Eat Free Calendar (click on a day to find out where kids eat free).
Hope this helps!

my daughter's 5th bday was at Splatters in villa park. it was great, the kids decorated cupcakes, created two art projects and played a few games centered on her theme (mermaids). my daughter loved it and the two sisters who run it were awesome!!! good luck
Few ideas...
Lil' Monkey Bizness in Western Springs does parties. My niece had a fun one in Villa Park, on Villa Ave. at a kids' art studio called Splatters (www.splattersparties.com) that had a princess theme and all the kids got to make something. There's also that ceramics studio in Elmhurst on York that might do parties too. Just a few ideas, I hope that is helpful! :)

We did Monkey Joe's in Wheaton, though I think that's similar to Pump It Up. What about Brookfield Zoo?
