I am 36 weeks pregnant and on top above my nipple by boob feels like there is a bruised on it but there isnt and is so sore to touch the top of it and even when i walk it hurts. My nipples arent really sensitive. Is it feeling up with milk i do already have the clear colostrum (i think thats what its called) in.
Thank you i just took my bra off and omg...did it hurt. It hurts when i walk i guess cause my boob is moving when i walk but ugh...it hurts. This is my 2nd pregnancy and they never did this with my daughter. If anybody has anything else to add please do:)
If you see redness in that area... see your doctor. My sister had Mastitis (sp?) after her dd was born and ended up in the hospital.
sounds like a clogged duct try hot compresses if that doesnt help talk to your obgyn you may need meds
It is just getting "ready" to produce milk... "massaging" it and taking a warm shower may help!

Try Warm or cold compresses because it varies on what works for everyone. I understand how you feel both my complete breasts felt that was way I was expecting my 4. Also warm baths to soak in and a tighter bra maybe a sports on will help lessen movement and may help
Yeah it probably is the milk getting ready. Milk usually takes 48 hours after delivery to come in (that's what the lactation consultant told me). I don't understand why it would hurt when you walk, but if you start to feel some sharp pains, it could be getting ready. I am breastfeeding my 12 day old son and when my breasts start to fill up, I can tell. If feels like a bunch of tiny needles are piercing my boobs!!!
