$20 Gift Exchange for Small Group of 8 Mostly Women but 2 Guys

I've been to a couple of gift exchanges already this year. Some of the gifts that got stolen a lot, by both genders:

A movie, or movie tickets, along with popcorn and candy. If you give a real movie and not tickets, throw in a bottle of wine.

A bluetooth / remote camera shutter, one that works with both cameras and smartphones

Dartboard

Alcohol - any kind, with or without glasses or accessories (martini shakers, etc)

a $20 bill

A car care kit also called an emergency kit. Usually includes jumper cables, a warning light, fuses etc.

Since most have families you could get a game they can play at home with their kids. Last March I got my grandson a badmition set for his birthday, he seemed to really like it. I told my daughter if she also picked up a volley ball they would have two games.

I am in a peculiar mood, so I would be inclined to make a package FULL of specifically 'male oriented' toilet items...some sample after shaves, some jock itch cream, so nose hair clippers, a jock strap (and/or a cup)...you get the idea!

It would have to depend on the relationship within the group, But this was my first thought!

Dinner restaurant gift certificates are always stolen at my office party. Also good bottles of wine (we have teams that travel internationally all the time and they bring home good wines - so they give them at this party).

The two gifts that were made fun of were lotions (picked by a man) and a movie (I thought this was okay though).

So if it's gender neutral and $20, I'd go with movie tickets or lottery tickets probably.

I made a cozy kit for mine- our limit was $15. I got I of those fleece throws, a thing of fancy hot coco, and a quirky mug. We will see how it goes. :)

Spa style stuff like a loofa, bath salts, and a pumice stone. Something yummy to eat that's special, what would you buy for yourself if you had the extra money that's totally decadent? That's what it should be.

My husband said the "hit" of his gift exchange was a collection of batteries. (Packaged and new of course.) popular especially this time of year and good for men and women.

booze. good chocolates. gourmet popcorn. movie or lottery tickets. yankee candle. fleecy throw blanket, especially if it has a popular local team logo on it.
i just got a great folding chair with a soft-sided cooler attached, on sale at macy's for under $20. i'll be interested to see if it's a hit at the dirty santa party.

A really nice Starbucks cup and a gift card.

A nice soft fluffy throw blanket would work. They were the big hit and stolen at the party I went to.
