HI T.,

my grandson was the same way, we would hold him up and he would bend his knees. He was 16mos, and we were concern, so we took him to a specialist a orthopediatric doctor, he examine and said everything look find, he told us he doesn't start to worry until they,re 18mos, so he told us to bring him back if he didn't start to walk by then,3 days after we had taken him the little stinker just got himself and started walking, so let her be she will eventually walk when you least expect it.

Try to resist comparing your child to other children's development. Some kids walk at 10 mos, most do not. Some children never crawl before walking. Always consult Ped with concerns just to be sure, but each child is developing at their "norm". Hope this helps

Hi, T..
Please don't worry. I have couple others friends who have babies who are from 11 months to 18 months old, and I have a baby that is 13 months now. I heard that they are usually one year old when they start walking. My daughter was 11 months and my doctor said that is perfectly normal and also my friend's baby who started walking when he was 16 months was normal too. My daughter did not want to learn to walk when my husband and I tried to help and she just started walking by herself when she was ready.
She will walk when she is ready and you will be so proud of you little girl!

T.,

HI...Children don't usually start walking until they are ONE. My son started right after his 1st Bday...so DON'T worry about that yet...at 10 months she should be learning how to crawl... hope that helps

Peace,
L.
