Hi G.! This is such a good time to get her hooked on healthy foods! My daughter is 14 months now and she is crazy about avocados, boiled or baked sweet potatoes, cooked carrots, soft meats (meat from homemade soup is great), regular potatoes, lentils, cooked apples, cut up bananas, soft pears. Go wild in the produce dept.! All of this stuff takes minimal preparation and you will have such a healthy girl! We give our little girl goat's milk because the fat globules(sp?) are smaller than that of cow's and easier to digest. Our son drinks organic cow's milk cuz he has it in his head that goats milk is gross. I think all milk is disgusting so I understand his thinking:)
Another lady mentioned the book by Yaron. I think I read that one. Good stuff in there! I just get bored reading recipes so I make up my own. Don't be afraid to flavor the food with cinnamon, basil, a little sea salt, etc... babies like flavor! Have fun!
